We are based at 314 Medomsley Rd, Consett, County Durham DH8 5NX where there is free parking next to our store.Our practice is wheelchair friendly.

We provide a complete eye care service including eye tests, contact lens fittings and aftercare and our large showroom houses contact lenses and frames to suit everyones taste and budget- from designer fashions to budget classics.

We have sourced the latest range of single vision, bifocal and varifocal/ progressive lenses and ensure all our top quality products are competitively priced.

We also supply sunglasses and sports eyewear including prescription ski masks, diving masks and swimming goggles.

We are passionate about eye care and offer a children's eye testing service every day - children go free at Opticians at Home and our children's frames include Barbie and Action Man.

We think everyone deserves the best eyesight possible.That is why we are committed to carrying out complete eye exams anywhere- private homes, care homes, residential homes, hospitals and at sheltered accommodation.

Home visits can be undertaken privately throughout the North East or on the NHS for eligible patients living in County Durham and Tyne and Wear.
